Buggy 2 in 1 - Which Type is Right For You?
A buggy 2-in-1 gives you the possibility of going from city strolling to offroading - and many other modes to make your life with your child a lot simpler! But what type should you choose?
Modular seats are not part of the frame and can be altered to face forward or backwards depending on the age of your child. parent or a child. Most of them also recline.
Full Size
Our go(tm), inline(r), version of buggy 2-in-1 is ideal for babies straight out of the box. It offers infinite recline levels to allow for napping & a fully lie flat bed. The seat is padded and placed in the best position to distribute weight evenly & maintain a stable centre of gravity, allowing you to bounce over any kerbs. It also folds up nice & neat, and fits in your car boot! If your children want to ride in their own way it easily converts to a smooth go (tm) single.
Umbrella
There are two in one umbrella buggy options available on the market. When compared to two in one pram of our selection they tend to be smaller and lighter when folded. Our favorite models are the Mountain Buggy Nano Duo and the Delta Children LX side by side. Both are sleek & stylish and offer some of our best storage space. They also come with reclining seats and leg rests. They're missing a few features we consider essential for the full-size stroller.

3-Wheel
A 3-wheel buggy provides the most maneuverability and performance on all terrains especially in offroad conditions. They're typically larger than a regular buggy and have bigger tyres too - offering greater grip, handling and stability for those rough adventures. They can turn on a dime, and are easy to steer with only one hand.
A 3-wheel buggy can be used from the beginning (if using a car seat adapter) or when your child is older and no longer requires to sit in a car seat. They are ideal for quick trips out and about town, or when you want something that will take on more rough terrain you encounter during your walks.
They can be a little heavier than an umbrella buggie, but again this is usually due to the fact that they're equipped with more features and are built for more abrasive use which means they can take a bit more abuse. The seat folds, unlike some umbrella buggies. This is a great option if your child needs to rest while you're out and wandering around.
Fabric slings are positioned in the frame instead of over the top, as are modulars. This results in a lower centre of gravity as well as better weight distribution. This makes it easier to push and easier to kerb-pop (no need for brute force to lift the nose off a small kerb). This also means that your child will experience a more pleasant ride.
Our top picks include the Red Dot award winning duet(tm) which is an all-terrain vehicle that delivers modularity from day one, offering endless seating options for twins or siblings, as well as an incredibly stunning design that features melange & texturous fabrics & tailored appeal. You can also opt for voyager(tm) which is the only inline buggy which is two in one and has a modular design, as well as a wide range of modes. It's built on the legendary sport(tm platform).
4-Wheel
The best buggy is an important decision. You must select a model that is easy to use. However, you should also consider your budget. There are many different choices to choose from, and you can find the ideal buggy to meet your family's requirements. Certain models are designed specifically for children. Some models come with remote controls for parents, while others come with an adjustable seat as well as an mp3 player. Some have long battery life, which means you can take your children for long walks.
